Mouth Ulcer
I’ve developed an ulcer on the inner top part of my top lip. It hurts quite a lot because whenever I talk or eat it rubs on my gum. I was thinking of what heals these buggers.
I had a flashback to when Glen and I were in the process of moving down to Brisbane and we were staying with friends. I got an ulcer and my friends told me to put salt on it. I tried it and it hurt like hell. Glen told me that I wasn’t putting enough salt onto it to even make a difference. So he got a wop load on his finger and held it there. I had tears rolling down my cheeks. I should let you know that this salt torture did not work.
Maybe there isn’t a quick fix that I’m willing to try.

There is a paste you can try from the local chemist. You put it on at night. Works a treat. Other than that try the stuff that you use for teething kids (good for the pain).
The old wives tale though is baking soda, not salt.
